Dress Me Dinky Penelope Petals, from Dinkum Dolls by Olli Ella. This morning, Penelope laid out her gingham blanket before the sun had fully stretched its arms. She’s packed raspberry tarts, a storybook, and three kinds of jam. Anyone hungry?
The raspberry tarts and gingham blanket details are what sold me — my niece spends ages setting up little picnics for her. Penelope's dress comes off easily enough that a four-year-old can do it herself.
The gingham blanket that comes with Penelope is such a sweet touch, my niece immediately set it up for a picnic with her raspberry tarts. The doll is soft and the outfit is easy for little hands to take on and off.
My daughter takes Penelope everywhere now, and the little raspberry tarts she packed get offered to everyone at the playground. The doll's outfit is soft enough that my kid sleeps with it, which I didn't expect.
